My favorite rosehips of all time were gathered at Sun Lakes State Park in WA
(Dry Falls) in November. I don't know the species but although small, they
tasted like vit. C candy. There is an ornamental Crabapple I have seen in
plantings in Corvallis that has a similar though less intense flavor.

picked some Galas and Fujis last week that were pure juicy heaven
