That's why I'd go find more!

That's why I planted the Gaultheria under the blues! I already had the mulch
program underway there.

A foot of pine needles makes it tough going for grass; I still recommend
cutting rather than pulling.

These days I might put rotten conifer logs under blues, or pruned fir boughs
or any other conifer "stuff"
