Hello,

Just tried to add to the Online Exchange Page but it did not appear in the
WANTED section. It appeared as a comment at the bottom. How do you place
things into the proper
place?

Tom:

You did everything right, as far as posting to the weblog in the exchange wikipage is concerned - this is the easiest tool to use to get involved with the exchange and great for newbies. What you asked about is how to add content or comments to the Echange page itself - that's
different from the weblog and involves using wiki taxt formatting when editing the Exchange page. Miekal posted a great intro on doing this - see also the page called Help Pages, you can learn how do anything you need there or just email me for more assistance. Again, from my previous post here a little more info on getting started adding to Wiki pages (i.e. the Online Exchange).

This is a typical Wiki. See this page:
http://www.ibiblio.org/ecolandtech/agwiki/index.php/OnlineExchange
You have the ability to create and edit pages while online. No email is involved. The little "Actions" menu at the bottom of the left sidebar allow you to click on the "Edit" option. You can then edit and change the very page you were looking at.
You'll need to learn a few simple rules for editing pages, i.e. text
formatting rules. This info is in the Help Pages
which you can click on.
