And half a dozen badly desired varieties, each of them only available from a different company, and most of those being companies I have no reason to order anything else from, as the bulk of the list is much more sensibly ordered from Fedco or E&R or Johnny's or High Mowing . . .

(while thirty different companies are each listing the same thirty varieties available as organic seed. Yes, I do know they're all getting them from the same producer.)

Glad to know I'm not the only one still mired down in this process.

While I'm at it: where would I get "lady peas"? (and will they actually grow up here?) I did a little research on this and think I might be looking for something like Mississippi Zipper Cream, maybe?? -- a friend of mine used to be given these by a neighbor in her long-ago Southern USA childhood; I promised to grow a few for her if I could find them.
