Greetings,
Use pencil, it lasts for years. Permanent markers fade in the weather, fast. In Texas, they only last a couple of weeks in my greenhouse. An added plus, using pencil means a one time scrounge for the window blinds, they are erasable. I own an electric eraser from back in the days when drafting was done by hand, not computer. Now, cartoonists use them, so they are still on the market.
Bright Blessings,
Kim

ohh I missed the window blinds as markers...does that really work?? Just use a permanent marker?
For us up more northern, we are stuck in the deep freeze, so planning for the next season is all I can really do right now.
