I package salad mix in cellophane bags from PakSel - cellobag.com I use their light cellophane. Not an east coast supplier, but I haven't found any other supplier either.
Then there's the info from our recent discussion of plastic weed barrier - check out the biodegradable clamshells at ecoproducts.com
Here's their description: Corn PLA "Plastic" : corn based products are compostable, eco friendly and cost effective.
I've never used clamshells, but have been tempted just because customers tend to poke, prod and squeeze the precious vegetables I bring to market.

HI all,
Does anyone know where I can get plastic or cellophane bags for salad mix? Preferably on the east coast, Canada or the U.S. Thanks for your help with this.
