I concur; Yukon Gold, although very popular is a light producer and greens up faster than other potatoes.  No one has mentioned German Butterball as a viable alternative.  G.B. is easy to grow and produces a huge crop of small to large russeted, golden fleshed spuds with flavor as good as Y. Gold.  My customers eagerly bought them once the tried them.
