* How many folks on this list have done well through word-of-mouth
marketing?
We get a lot of our customers through the farmers markets we attend.  Demand way exceeds supply throughout the growing season.  During the winter months I travel into the city for two hours and sell in a church parking lot and sometimes make more there in two hours than I do all day on an average market day.  That's with just a third of the product  I
would have during the summer season, and that is word of mouth from my customers to one another.  I have some real loyal customers who don't mind driving a bit (or walking) to get their goodies.

For our CSA there is a nice publication of all the CSA's in our area and we are listed in that.  King County has a web site that spotlights farmers and we are in that as well.  Neither one gives us much
help.  Actually we have gotten to the point that more customers is not something we are striving for.
