What was pointed out is that most people are not going to
drive two hours to pick up twenty pounds of steaks or roasts
in order to save a dollar a pound.

A farmer in close proximity to a prospect or customer may
have little difficulty getting customers to drop by the farm
to pick products up.

If a customer has to spend $11.00 in gas plus two hours
of time to save $20.00, the nine dollar net is less than the
legal minimum wage for the time spent driving.

While you might not believe that customers think of the
value of their time in this fashion, studies show that many do.
