Revolution is based on failure of everything electric, leading to a total collapse of  society.  The show isn't "realistic", but it might be useful in getting some couch potatoes to think about "what if".  Real change doesn't happen much until attitudes change, and I'm supportive of anything that helps, even if it's just TV drama.

Meanwhile, I stay busy outside.  It has been a dry winter, but it's still good to see stuff turn green again.

Well hi again, Mitch. Never saw any of that but the trend to the new post-apolyptic stuff suggests some demand out there, maybe a sea change. Got tired of the Prepper stuff real fast, bad script, totally unrealistic soap opera, guns, MREs, etc. No long term plans, gardening, community. Absurd when you consider the roving hordes can't get far on no gas & empty stomach. Based on killing all the men, women & children who want what you've got. The rich "ecovillages" probably aren't any more realistic. YMMV.  Wasn't it Yogi Berra, the trouble with predictions is it's in the future...

This line jumped out at me:
The System of systems works very hard to convince people they have to buy everything they need using money.

Reminds me of the Joan Baez song All My Trials:
"if living were a thing that money could buy,
you know the rich would live and the poor would die..."
