I was surprised that my gardening method was so similar to the Cds you sent me Ken. Thank you for sending them.I wasnt keeping as constant nor as deep a mulch as the Lady. So am testing that on one bed, Ive fears of being over run by slugs that linger under the mulch. Ive been gathering the majority of the winter pea vines and putting them in the compost bin. However on the test bed I under sowed the collards with peas cutting the bottoms of the collards as they grew taller. My intentions is to leave all pea vines where they lay the heat should killem off shortly. If not I will cut and leave in place, planting the next crop down thru em, I might sneak a little compost into the planting hole...

I know two farmers who have not tilled their soil for 40 years.

cedarmeadowsfarm.com  in PA and one here in Lubbock area.

Leave all green manure/cover crops on top of the soil.
