I am going to get this book upon a recommendation of an herbalist that I admire, I have the Secret Life of Plants which is also good but Buhner takes it in the direction that inspires me. Buhner also does the forward on a book I started and am liking called Plant Spirit Healing A Guide to Working with Plant Consciousness by Pam Montgomery.

Dang, Debbie, you're just insisting on this woo-woo stuff, aren't you!

Yes, I have read SHB's SECRET TEACHINGS OF PLANTS--along with most of his other books (also attended a weekend seminar wi him coupla years ago)--and it was a tremendous inspiration, broadened my relation to the Green People considerably.

'Bout halfway through, you'll conclude plants are a hell of a lot smarter than people.

Enjoy.

The threat of nuclear weapons and man's ability to destroy the environment
are really alarming. And yet there are other almost imperceptible changes--I
am thinking of the exhaustion of our natural resources, and especially of
soil erosion--and these are perhaps more dangerous still, because once we
begin to feel their repercussions it will be too late. ~The Dalai Lama
