Good - maybe. They caution us to avoid chalking up local variations to
global climate change (i.e., no hurricanes made landfall last year on US
east coast). My point was simply that growers of all sorts need to plan to
cope with more severe or unpredictable weather in the not too distant
future, including temperature and precip.

Just got over a spell of snow and sleet here in high desert central New
Mexico, basically forced us to move our germination flats from the seedling
greenhouse into an inside storeroom to get 70 degrees. Tomatoes, peppers,
eggplant, melons, squash. Now to keep the cats off those shelves ;-)
