I'm no expert either! Oh, I wish I was. But I am thinking of sanitation rather than plants taking up prions.....dropped vegetables, fruits, and all that. I know... I'm cautious and perhaps overly cautious but if I can find an alternative I will.

BTW... some of the family eats poultry and I save and burn those bones for the garden if I'm already doing a fire for something else. I save up carcasses in the freezer when there is room.
