My introduction to Jerry Baker was by way of a Master Gardener who I was buying a Troy rototiller from.  He had had a problem with some trees in his orchard and had not been able to solve the problem.  He tried a remedy from Jerry Baker and had success.  He said he didn't know why it worked but it did--this from a USDA trained Master Gardener.

My second experience with Jerry Baker's remedies was from a neighbor who has an immaculate yard, garden, orchard--everyting looking picture perfect.  He is also helped me as I learn about tending livestock and processing them.  He swears by Baker's concoctions and methods for his lawn, etc.

I have one of Baker's books and I look at the ingredients and have chosen not used his formulas because of the toxic ingredients in them.  My neighbor uses urea on his pasture and I will not having read "Soil, Grass and Cancer."  But I am considering using up some mouthwash containing fluoride on my white fence posts to rid them of the "green algae" that has formed.
