My bark graft is not chip budding. Its
more like T-budding. The scion is prepared as for a splice graft, usually with
one bud sometimes two; the stock is cut off perpendicular to the stock, the bark
is split and lifted, the scion is slid under the bark as if it were T-budding
except there is no stock above the T, then bound with an elastic or electricians
tape and sealed with a grafting compound. Ask all the questions you want, I
enjoy responding.
