Both.

Another thing with the AG office is that you want to be the gently
squeaking wheel. Find out who is investigating your case and contact
them in a friendly manner on a regular basis. And have as much
information as you can gather ready in order to help the investigator as
much as possible. I call this the three P's of dealing with authority:
polite, persistent, prepared.
