And if myself and 10 of my neighbors are doing our own thing and not hurting
anybody,
why should 299,999,990 other folks be able to say "You live in our Country
so you
have to obey these rules and pay these taxes?" In other words, I consider
"The State"
to be an artificial construct, which is necessarily inferior to the
Individual.

Because:

1. We outnumber you.
2. If you had your way the state would be too weak to do anything to stop us.
3. We may not own the state (rich people/entities do), but we do have a rather sizable stake, see #1.
4. The state has lots of guns.

If there were no state:

1. We'd still outnumber you.
2. You'd still be paying a local warlord
3. We'd still not own the local warlord but we'd still outnumber him (in most cases in some cases his programs to eradicate us would be more successful see Uganda) and thus he'd best not piss us off too much.
4. The warlord would still have lots of guns

This is the natural order of things. Get used to it :-)

TTYL,

Phil
