Yeah, that's the worry and would be the dealbreaker for me. I believe there
are a number of third party games available for the latest-generation iPods.
I can't imagine that they'll move backwards from that, not let you use those
games on the phone, but those might be heavily licensed, like software/games
on a video game console. And Apple or Cingular might not want to open it up
any further than that.

It would be a shame, but I'm cool sticking with my Treo 650 (Palm OS) for at
least another 12 months and see how things shake out.
