I was referring to the judicial and school board races that are
non-partisan. The party of the voter and the party of the candidate is
irrelevant. All voters vote for the same slates. Since there are no
Libertarian primaries (Libertarians usually just select their candidates
at convention), these are the only races that Libertarians can vote for.
Unaffiliated voters (that's the correct term, *not* "Independent") can
choose any of the three ballots, Republican, Democrat, or Libertarian
(which is just non-partisan races). However, whichever you choose at
the first primary will become your choice for the second primary
(run-off), if there is one.
