The problem with this is is accountability. How do you know that a station is
fullfilling a need other than by listenership? In any event, I don't think
that WUNC's all classical weekday format was serving anyone, since as
classical stations go they were dead last in my book.

In my opinion public stations should play all sorts of music you can't hear
on commercial stations. My favorite station, which unfortunately doesn't
broadcast over the internet is WYSO, which plays everything under the sun.
