"Borderline techie"?! Heather, I thought you were an aerospace
engineer by training, the proverbial rocket scientist.

Heather hits the nail on the head, from my POV. I think the original
thought was to be a non-serious gathering of people who work on or with
or who are otherwise serious about the Internet.

Then there's the ever-popular "Netheads"... Yeah, I think I prefer
"Interneties". "Internetties"? (Internutties.)
