One other concern I have is that Washington is home to professional sign
carriers, and they will carry any
sign they are paid to. The major unions, and other groups all have a list
of these folks and regularly roll them out for their own protests, and
occasionally hire them to show up at opponents protests with wild extreme
signs
to purposely derail the efforts of the group. They are trained to find the
cameras, get on them, not give any interviews and leave. I know a group of
college students at Montgomery college in Rockville MD, that make a nice
bit of spending money this way.

I have no doubt there are some jerks with signs like that, and those kinds
of signs anger me. They detract from the big messages, "limited
government", "small government", "excessive taxation", "unconstitutional
actions by
congress", "irresponsible spending by congress", etc. They are not
representative of the majority either.

Out here, organizers won't let them hoist signs like that, because the
real message gets lost.

What is also being missed is that Congress and special interests need to
take responsibility also. People are tired of having their wallets raped,
favoritism of this or that group/business over another, and their freedoms
taken away. They are fighting back. The anger has been brewing for years.

One small example, when big dairy wanted to take over, what did they do?
In WI, they kept changing the laws on the location of the manure trench
behind milk cows every year or so, causing great expense to small dairies,
etc. until they put them out of biz. The government favored one dairy over
the other. It doesn't take a mental giant to figure out why.

There are millions of examples, millions of laws and regulations on the
books, and it is time that citizens stand up and say enough is enough.

What I got from what she said is that there are people who might take some
of the messages set forth by people at the tea parties and act on them. My
understanding of the tea parties is that they are protests against taxes.

Some of the signs say things like:

Obama's plan = white slavery

The zoo is the place for monkeys, the white house has an African.
(something
like that)

There are lots of more extreme messages. Pelosi is saying that the great
thing about this country is free speech, but people need to take
responsibility for what they say. There are lots of crazies in the world.
