they do some really cute dancing also. That way they can't be called liars. For example, one of them is "PM of Canada Comes To U.S. For Cancer Treatment." Yep, he sure did. AFTER he waited too long to get initial treatment (his choice) and then when his too late treatment didn't work, he headed to the U.S. for experimental treatment that Canada wouldn't pay for NOR would any type of U.S. coverage! Or there's the gal that came here (actually, here here in CA <g>) for a mastectomy. The implied was "couldn't get it in Canada). Ah, not true. She could have had a mastectomy but she wanted a special type of plastic surgery with her mastecomy. Canadian health plan wouldn't cover it NOR would any U.S. insurances!

It is all a liars game. Just enough truth to scare the sheople and keep them marching along and not questioning anything.

The press corp is fact-adverse but very fable friendly.

The title of the article is, after all, "Debunking the Myths of the
Canadian Health Care System." Would one not expect it to be addressing only one
side of the question??

It doesn't matter that the author is a flaming left-winger, nor that she
might not display the best decorum in her communicaitons, the important point
is whether the explosion of the myths are true or not.

To that end, I would not characterize what is being said about the Canadian
system by the opponents of Obamacare to be "overblown", but rather out and
out lies and fabrication.

When the vocal and vehement opponents of the proposals say (as they do
loudly and repeatedly) that Canadians cannot choose their doctor, people have to
pay out of pocket for essential healthcare and come to the US to get it,
doctors work for the Canadian government and hospitals are owned by the
governemnt .... that is not overblown, it is out and out mendacity.
