A big part of the reason it was thrown out later was that the white house
used it's authority
to make many of the requested documents unavailable for the trial. This
rendered the case
difficult to progress with and for lack of this evidence it was thrown out.
If it had been pushed up for decision prior to his election to President,
the documents would have been subpoenaed and produced. It's good to
be the king.
