I'd say that makes sense due to your elevation. When did you plant
last year. I think I planted in early May. Way late for here. It also
depends on the year and the weather. I've always had good broccoli,
but last year was a bust.

I planted Green Goliath last year (an heirloom), I'm trying it again
this year cause last year was my fault and the drought. I've planted
Packman (hybrid) and it gave me 2 years of nice crops. I think it's
Calabrese I've planted, it grew well, it has numerous small heatlets
not one big one.

I'm hoping the Green Goliath will do well here, cause I'd like to save
seeds of broccoli this year.
