What kind of sled do you use? I have a huge wheelbarrow that I put

It's a heavy plastic sled that I bought many years ago. It's about 30x48" and pulls as easily on grass as on snow. Over the years I've hauled firewood, kids, compost, dead sheep, live calves, and everything else in it. It's starting to fall apart. I've been looking at replacements, but the cost is prohibative...I KNOW I didn't pay anywhere near what they are asking today.

When I cut up my leaking plastic water tank, I saved a few pieces of it. It is thick plastic. I saved one side of the cube to use as a 'pond'. I will grow rice in it this year. I saved one 'slab' for use as a sled. I just need to drill some holes and add a rope or chain and I'm set. The sled would be fun for sledding or for pulling wood, moving rocks, etc. If you know what kind of tank I am refering to, you might find a cracked one and cut it down to suit your sledding needs.

The humididty stays high (it's 82% right now, at 17 degrees). Someone from Canada commented that it feels colder here because the humidity is higher.

Our humidity is usually high, too. Like I was telling Van Dell in the other post, it is hard to dry clothes outside.

Already I am slowing down,
like a rusting tin man. It took me 10-15 minutes(with pain) to bring in
wood for the day's fire this morning, a task that normally only takes 5
minutes or less sans pain.

I hope it helps you. Being fit is so important. It often comes down to things just not getting done if WE can't do them. I often wonder what would happen if I was incapacitated...if I'm just sick or injured I drag myself around, but if I couldn't...

This year, financially, we HAVE to have a garden. There is no other choice. I have to be fit enough to garden. Period.
