What kind of sled do you use? I have a huge wheelbarrow that I put
large tiller tires on(for traction), but I know that wouldn't work in
heavy snow.

It's a heavy plastic sled that I bought many years ago. It's about 30x48" and pulls as easily on grass as on snow. Over the years I've hauled firewood, kids, compost, dead sheep, live calves, and everything else in it. It's starting to fall apart. I've been looking at replacements, but the cost is prohibative...I KNOW I didn't pay anywhere near what they are asking today.

4 Degrees. IMO, that is bone chilling cold. We do see temps that cold
maybe one night a winter, but it is short-lived, usually. What is the
humidity like when it is single digit degrees up there?

The humididty stays high (it's 82% right now, at 17 degrees). Someone from Canada commented that it feels colder here because the humidity is higher. They are talking about serious cold from Tuesday night though at least Saturday. I keep telling myself that means an early spring (Mother Nature just laughs at me).

Taking
this much turmeric, even for just a week, has changed the way I smell
and it is a smell I will have to adjust to if I continue on with this
treatment.

That happens to me with garlic. I've gotten to like the smell, but the kids don't, so I backed off a little.

Already I am slowing down,
like a rusting tin man. It took me 10-15 minutes(with pain) to bring in
wood for the day's fire this morning, a task that normally only takes 5
minutes or less sans pain.

I hope it helps you. Being fit is so important. It often comes down to things just not getting done if WE can't do them. I often wonder what would happen if I was incapacitated...if I'm just sick or injured I drag myself around, but if I couldn't...the whole place would grind to a halt.

Don't do that. Don't act helpless.
I'm glad to hear that you can't do a pushup. It does make me feel
better. I am definitely stronger in my legs, and always have been.

I don't do 'helpless' convincingly, anyway. As soon as I show up in my beatup pickup truck and start talking about pushing my bulls around, the jig is up...I'm no delicate little flower. And I've decided that not being able to do pushups isn't something I'm going to stress about. But I would like to strengthen my upper body.
