Definately not a basset, Bob <g> Here's a link to my very limited MySpace
page (just use it for photos).
http://home.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user Click on "View My" and then Photos. Go into the My Photos album and you'll see pictures of Tuff-E
and Cali. Tuff-E weighs in around 90 pounds. Cali is shorter and smaller
and weighs in around 75-80 pounds. They aren't all that big, just one nasty
team if the need arises.

I generally tell folks to keep their distance as Tuff-E has the face of an angel but the disposition of an alligator with PMS. <g> Cali is a people lover but when Cali speaks, people listen <g>

When you google 'Pitcur Hound", you get "basset hound" as the results
(except for one photo that looks kind of like a greyhound, but with
nothing beside it to give size perspective" I know the AmStaffs are huge
and strong, so I omagine your pitcur is a big dog. That is another
problem , when I move. I can't allow the stupid dog outside without me.
She is very protective and fearless of anything on her property; but she
is 12 and 1/2 pounds. .........Yikes........................
