I got tired of the neighbors dogs attacking my coop and chickens. I warned
the neighbors that I would shoot if they didn't keep them on their property.
They said, go ahead. I don't think they thought I was serious, but I was.
After 50 or so were killed over a couple of years, I was livid.
I did throw dead smelly chicken carcasses into their yards for a months
before I pulled a trigger. They were warned with witnesses present, they
gave permission, and said nothing afterwards. But they did make their fences
more secure afterwards.
Another thing that is going on is people are abandoning their animals - not
enough money for food and they are abaondoning pets.
Better hunting next time. The hawks never got a chicken, the roosters always
kept a lookout and got the hens to safety before any hens or chicks were
snatched. Although I did lose a few in the locked coop to (a cat or racoon
twisting the heads off as they tried to pull them thru the wire). The dogs
were the worst.

I have come to decide that it is time to learn to join metal without bolts,
screws, or glue.
Welding
I've had a few jobs around the place that required novel ways of overcoming
what could have been done better and more efficiently with a weld.
From the experience of those on the list, I am hoping to get some direction
as to which way to proceed.
Stick, torch? Size? Pro, Con? Or one of the materials that I see sold in
rod form that promise to join everything including disimilar metals together
better and stronger than they were made.
I'm not trying to be an artist, but rather joining pipe, angle, sheet,
whatever we find a need to cut or join in the normal everyday running of the
homestead.
Comments, stories, suggestions.....
Thanks you

Gene,
Even the author of the books says not to get fanatic about following the diet
to the letter. Me, I don't much care for beer, but DO NOT take away my
butter!! Life is too short to not have some fun along the way. All the
other things you mentioned have other good things to eat instead, but beer
and butter, there is just no substitute!

I researched this blood-type diet with an open mind. I had no problem
accepting the meat recommendations and much more. Then I read that as
a Type A I should avoid wheat, tomatoes, sweet peppers, mushrooms,
olives, potatoes and beer.
