Just catching up on my email, but I had to tell about horse farming.  I asked
my dad once why he went to tractors instead of horses and he said that when
you come in for dinner, all you had to do was turn off the key.

That would be interesting to see. Do they roll them or have something like
a spike on a gasoline powered three point fore cart?

As far as horses go, I am like my father, use gasoline as long as possible.
I do not want no stinking horses.

My father grew up farming with horses and when he got his farm it was power
farming all the way. His stories of horse farming were fun to listen to.
His father farmed with horses up until his last day of farming. He bought
tractors only because his sons wanted them and they did increase
productivity. I think he had a Farmall Regular and a 15-30. He also had a
steam engine that worked a threshing machine and a sawmill.

Hi, Bob-
This is not exactly the site I was after, but quite similar. I realized
after my last post that the site I wanted was in 'favorites' on a previous
computer (that fried itself in one of our world-famous power outages).
The site I had contained more plans for actual sheds and such - and cabins
designed for very simple construction - 1 room, front porch, maybe a loft in
the fancier models, or a lean-to on the back of the cabin. That's all I
wanted.
It was the sheer basic simplicity of their plans that made them attractive.

Should I ever come across it again, I promise to forward it.
