We are thankfully getting much, just down and east from you. I think
it did not turn like they thought and it's more windy than expected.
Curious. How did your broccoli do?
Mine grew great, planted a month late. By the end of June it started
to head (a month late for here). Because of the drought, I think, it
just gave these weird little deformed heads. We ate a few, but the
stalk part was about all it amounted to.
I'm hoping it was the late planting and drought. I planted an heirloom
variety called Green Goliath.
