I agree on much of this, but can't think of one single thing Obama has
fought the Dems on, and worry that he will just read the teleprompter no
matter
what it says or who wrote it. His own history with lobbyists is bad, as is
that
of most politicians, so that is a draw. I just fear either party running all
three branches with no-one to answer to. I would have to go with the
candidate that even 5 % of the time fights his own party.

McCain is what ever the group he is pandering to wants him to be and more
importantly what ever the lobbiests writing checks want him to be. He
represents four more years of the rich taking further advantage, four more
years of attempting to privatize and deregulate everything. Four more years
if big dick politics. He has trouble remembering what he said last week and
cannot read a teleprompter so will be easy to manipulate.

One example is his hatred of Bush after what the Rove political operatives
did to him and Cindy during the SC primary in 2000. He hates Bush but
cozied up to him with the now infamous hug just for political gain.

The Maverick image is just that, an image, cultivated for political gain.
He voted the bushie way 95% of the time.
