EVERYONE should have benedryl...even die hard homesteaders who otherwise only have herbal remedies. Glad you are okay, Gene, and I know how you felt-will feel- as I have been there...multiple times. People 'develop' allergies, some genetic switch or another gets flipped and suddenly you are allergic to something you never were before. And #2 is correct as next time will be worse...and what's more, you may have 'allergic' symptoms like hives for a few WEEKS until your body metabolizes that poison. It can come and go..
