Glad you're okay.

In summer 2006 our female Border Collie was bit by a spider (the Vet's best
guess), she quickly developed a brown, bubbly toxic looking rash that spread
from her snout to her eyes (puffy eyelids), almost covering her whole face.
This happened in a few hours--from our last sighting of our dog. We took her
to the Vet asap where she was carefully watched and put on steroids. She
ended up being fine though to this day she has an inch of pink skin near the
tip of her nose where hair did not grow back.

We usually have Benadryl on hand, it has several uses and is a surprisingly
cheap form of life insurance. ;) Need to doublecheck our supply, thanks for
the reminder.
