Horses unaccustomed to bright green spring grass can founder easily in the spring. Just a head's up. My Whole-inger is already wearing his grazing muzzle.
I was noticing the same thing in my pasture. My friend wants to put her
horses out there, but I told her "not now", that I hadn't seen such
vigor in the pasture in about 5 years, and I wanted to enjoy the green
for a bit longer. :)
If only the rains would continue throughout summer like this. Wouldn't
that be awesome?
