I hate it when I receive a reply to a message that I have not yet seen. James' posts probably have to be carried up out of the hollow via seriously old, brittle phone wire on up to civilization for a few hours or so before actually getting out onto the world-wide web.

I do totally agree with the excerpt above. Cannot imagine living without tomatoes and peppers, although I did get to the place of not eating potatoes for quite awhile. I will, however, focus a bit more on producing potatoes with the least solanine. Once I get the Heartwood garden back into production I intend to experiment with some dark-skinned varieties. And do more research.
