I liked the quote from the article as follows...

"The bottom line is, we don't want to misinform consumers with some sort of
implied message of difference," Glenn said. "There is no difference. These
foods are as safe as foods from animals that are raised conventionally."

Personally, I believe that. I don't think that there is any difference in
the actual safety between cloned food, and what we eat today... not that that
is saying much. However, all the other stuff that goes along with cloning,
from stock to ethics, does concern me.

This is getting to be a scary world. Soon huge agribusiness with the
blessing of the government will have us eating meat from basically one
cow. Why would agribusiness not want to clone just a few
super-producing cows, pigs, chickens, sheep or tomatos and then have
us all eat from that pot?

I am so glad that I am homesteading and able to do for myself as much as I
can.
