I also figure that keeping a few geese should not be too big of a deal
as they can graze in season and seem like they'd be pretty
independant.
Yes on independent. Some geese also make good watch animals. Would you prefer honks or barks to notify you when someone is approaching? If neither, get guineas for a unique sound.
Any goose horror stories ???
Bites can be painful. Their wings and beaks can hurt children.
