You are confusing subjectivity with fantasy. Just as in law courts you must
first determine that a crime was committed before you go on to prove that
someone did it, like that you must first show that a pathology exist before
diagnosing it. That is the part that is missing from the 'dyslexia' and ilk
group
of maladies. There has never been any evidence that when a person has
difficulty reading (which is what 'dyslexia' means 'dys - difficluty' 'lexia
-
reading') is suffering from any pathology objective or subjective or
fantasized.

People do things differently from each other and some seem to do things with
ease and some seem to strugle with it. For the most part we ignore this and
go on. But if we make up a Greek or Latin word for it and instead of just
viewing it as something a person does but rather say it is what they HAVE
(like a
cold or diabetes), this raises it to a whole new level and we can
intsitutionalize it and make a living treating it.

Ever see people whip into a parallel parking space in one movement, and see
another pull back and forth a dozen times and still park crooked two feet
from
the curb? What if instead of just saying that they had 'difficulty parking',
we made up a Graeco-Latin word for it, oh let's say, "dysestancionia" ---
'difficutly parking'. And we say rather than they park with difficulty we
say
they HAVE dysestancionia.

Whole new ball game now. It's something you HAVE like lice or athlete's foot.

The sky's the limit.

You're not inconsiderate, you HAVE dyslatrinocculia (difficulty putting down
the toilet seat).

You not habitually late for appointments, you HAVE dyspunctotemporalia.

You aren't an idiot, you HAVE dyspensalrectoenteroterrae. Sad case, that one.

Just an interesting aside, I find it kinda funny that an unschooler would buy
into such a 'shoot from the hip' pseudo science. Must be yet another case of
dys..... oh, never mind.
