Some small colleges' offerings don't change much, so given the expense of printing a new catalog every year, they've been known to skip a year. The only reason for changing the actual catalog is that new, permanent, courses have been added, or the graduation requirements have changed. Furthermore, students usually graduate under the requirements of their starting year, so there's no need for them to buy a new catalog, even if there's a new one published.

The class schedule (which, the point is, was not the first thing you thought of for your cost vs. benefit analysis) has absolutely gotta be printed every single semester or quarter, since the actual classes running have changed.

You are such an incredible idiot. I only have to exhibit a single example of any college that ever skipped a year between reprintings of their catalog to refute your post. Your should avoid logical dead ends like this in the future.
