One thing in Romans seems to be noticeably different from Jeremiah. Romans 10:3 says that Paul's Jewish brethren were "seeking to establish their righteousness." Jeremiah's slice of the paradigm says that they were pursuing their own course. Does Paul's clause have an OT counterpart? It looks to me a little like Ezekiel 18:29, "Are my ways not right..? Is it not your ways that are not right?" , although it's not a verbal parallel.
