I'm sure that this was a factor. But if sports are important enough to
pre-empt rock, then you hold game six and game seven and only book a rock
show when you're sure that those games won't be necessary.

Now this is based on my likely mistaken belief that the management at Dain's
DOES have a sports>rock policy and has made it clear to those who wish to
book shows.

I tried to book April 7 WAY in advance at the 506, and Glenn said nope
because that was national championship night. He was trying to keep the
date open on the CHANCE that UNC might make it. And need I remind anyone of
that Wedding Present show at the Cradle during the UNC/Duke game? I still
feel bad for the second band on that bill.

We need more rock and jock events. That would settle this.
