Salve from Giuseppe,

I booted the Slackware 3.3 net.i kernel from DOS.
I read this:

"eth0: D-Link DE-600 pocket adapter: not at I/O 0x378
D-Link DE-620 pocket adapter not identified in the printerport
arcnet.c: v2.56 96/10/18 Avery Pennarun apenwarr AT foxnet.net
arc0: Stage1: No ARcnet cards found"

Something to change in the BIOS settings?

Thank you for help.
Regards,

Giuseppe

Etherjet and Etherstreamer MC/32 may be the same card.
Used in NT and Win95. In Win2K it works with ne2k driver.
(Which is probably different from linux ne2k-pci driver).

Someone got this card working in openbsd, I think with the ne.o driver
module, using isapnp to set the io,

at port 0x279; read port 0x203 (??)

"IBM EtherJet ISA adapter, IBM1010, ," at isapnp0 port0x200/16 irq5

Try ne.o with various port settings and maybe also irq settings.

Is this an IBM PS/2 microchannel architecture (MCA) computer?

Sindi
