Really? According to the lspci manpage:

What does that have to do with PCMCIA? There
is nothing on the lspci manpage about PCMCIA.

Perhaps that's because you have no PCI devices.

I too run BL3 on Toshiba Satellites and successfully
use many different kinds of PCMCIA cards on them.

Why? AFAIK the module needs to match the PCMCIA
card not the PCMCIA chipset on the laptop.
