The hash matches for bl3-40.zip, and also for zimage.4dx.

The floppy version requires 12MB, and the target machine has 8MB. I
could try it on the test machine, but I'm not sure how useful that
will be. I was thinking along the lines of creating an EXT2
partition, and using a boot manager other than loadlin. I just not
sure how to set that up. I know the boot manager would point to the
kernel, but I'm not sure if the kernel must be in a particular
folder.

What's the purpose of /dev/loop0? Boot.bat passes that as a parameter
to loadlin.

I used the web interface to subscribe since the email bounced.

I believe the ibiblio SMTP server is using an aggressive anti-spam
policy. It's no problem for me now that I've reconfigured my mail
server; I mentioned it because other users may enounter the same
inconvenience.
