Does your ISP have support for the 56K part of the modem? In other
words, you can't use an X2 modem with a V.90 ISP.

If you can get a good LTmodem, there are some drivers for BL3.

zero-length? Is wget working?

Yes. I now realize that the fifo one will not buffer correctly.
So it looks like the options are to download first and then use
mpg123 or get a different player.
