fdisk and mke2fs are not scripts. They are standard
Linux executables for manual repartitioning and fs
creation. You need to execute those commands with
the appropriate parameters for your system. BasicLinux
does not have an auto-installation wizard. You create
a partition. You put a filesystem on it. You mount
it at /hd. Then run install-to-hd and it will install
everything to that partition.

If you have spare room (unallocated) on your HD, it is
fairly straight-forward: simply use fdisk to put a
primary Linux-native partition there and run mke2fs on
that partition. However, if there is no spare space on
your HD, you will have to make some (by reformatting the
HD or by stealing some space from an existing partition).
There are DOS/Windows utilities for stealing space, but
it can be a hazardous business (especially if you have
valuable data on the existing partition).
