fs.img is an image of the BL3 filesystem (without kernel).
It sits on the DOS partition as a file (it is not compressed).
After the BL3 kernel boots, it mounts fs.img as a loop device
and then uses it as the root filesystem.

BL2 also uses an image file: baslinux.gz. It sits on the
DOS partition as a file (it is compressed). After the BL2
kernel boots, it unzips baslinux.gz to a ramdisk and then
uses that as the root filesystem.

loadlin.exe is a DOS executable that boots a Linux kernel.
It has various parameters to tell the kernel where to find
the root filesystem.

I know very little about creating CDroms. However, loadlin.exe
only runs from DOS, so your CDrom must boot DOS to use loadlin.

When DOS boots, it automatically executes autoexec.bat.
So, you can start loadlin automatically in there.
