In the rxvt term under X, yes.

I tried starting links from another console I started in X that used a
differing font (from an rxvt term issued "rxvt -fn 6x13", for example). I
get some character corruption when I do this: e.g., what are supposed to
be lines show up as some other strange characters. Can I keep the same
fontface, but just make it smaller? Isn't the 6x13 font a different
fontface (or style, or whatever it's technically called)? Anyway, the
strange characters are the real showstopper for using a smaller font like
this, so that's the main issue to address.
